Looking for a book from a giant pile vs from organized shelves. Which task is easier? A clear information architecture is important to get to the information you need as quickly as possible.

vRealize Operations Manager is a tool used by virtual infrastructure teams to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot their virtual cloud environments. There are a lot of complex functionalities in the product added on over the years, and as a result, the navigation had become extremely complex. As part of our effort to simplify the overall user experience inside vRealize Operations Manager, my team and I started by addressing pain points around navigation.

The project involved evaluating baseline research studies, conducting card sorting research exercises, redefining information architecture, and iterating on design ideas.
